CASE STUDY

BUSINESS NEED:

For more than 20 years, TechBridge has been enabling nonprofits to better focus on their mission by giving them access to the technology they need to be more efficient. To impact the community even more and break the cycle of generational poverty, TechBridge wanted to provide technology training programs in underrepresented communities. They knew technology, had access to the technology community, and access to the population in need, but needed to understand the workforce development world.

SOLUTION:

WrightNow Solutions came in as consultants to turn TechBridge’s vision into a holistic Technology Career Program. WrightNow Solutions devised the structure of the program including the duration, curriculum, certifications, recruitment process, volunteer plan, schedule, and talent fulfillment of the graduate to area corporations. Along with TechBridge and their partner, Goodwill of North Georgia, WrightNow Solutions continues to orchestrate the program. WrightNow Solutions works heavily with the employers on integrating the program’s non-traditional talent with their traditional talent strategy.

OUTCOME:

Graduates of this program have gone from underemployed or unemployed to a successful career in Technology. 96% of the participants graduate and 90% of the graduates gain new industry recognized certifications. Wages have increased, on average, by 91% from where they were prior to the program. Graduates are working as technology professionals at companies such as NCR, Graphic Packaging, Southern Company, Georgia Power, Equifax, Elavon/US Bank, The Coca-Cola Company and many others.
